Plot 6 occupies the North-East corner of the Deptford Landings Masterplan prepared by Hawkins Brown for Lendlease.

Part of Phase 3 of the ongoing regeneration of the former industrial site in southeast London, the low-energy fully affordable development, led by Peabody with Higgins Partnerships, will include 130 homes for social rent and 59 homes for shared ownership, providing housing opportunities for local people.

Residents will enjoy carefully designed living spaces across three eight-storey buildings, complete with private balconies, a landscaped courtyard, and large roof terraces. The design enhances the surrounding context and introduces permeable public space, which will improve connectivity and integrate the scheme into the wider context.

The elevations are proposed with a two tones variation of the stretcher course brickwork on alternating floors. The horizontal banding is further emphasized by a darker feature band at each level. At street level the base of buildings are celebrated with a distinct checkboard brick pattern, this brickwork spans from ground level to first floor level.

The development will be built to Passivhaus standards, providing energy-efficient homes for residents, with drastically reduced energy bills, improved comfort, and enhanced air quality.
