Deptford Landing Plot 5 is a collection of five residential lead buildings within the wider Lendlease urban regeneration project in the London Bourough of Lewisham.

On completion Plot 5 will deliver 405 new homes, 382 student rooms, 3,874 sqm (GIA) workspace and 622 sqm (GIA) of retail space, with a new linear park and access ways connecting the existing open spaces, reinstating the urban fabric, whilst supporting the community’s health and wellbeing.

The 22 storey Evelyn Tower is located to the north of the site facing the main entrance to Deptford Park. The Student residential building will host 382 units arranged around a central core with concierge and retail units at ground level. The façade is expressed as a masonry led layered grid approach emphasising verticality via slender brick piers that are infilled with glass and profiled metal panels.

The Court building will provide 81 new homes, across 11 storeys, a mix of one, two and tree bedroom units, including ten wheelchair accessible homes. Each unit will be dual aspect and benefit from a private balcony and access to the shared communal garden at podium level.

At 29 storeys The Waterline Tower is AHMMs tallest building on the site with the uppermost level of the building set back accommodating four premium apartments. The building’s façade is composed of a super-grid metal clad facade that accentuates verticality. A repetitive grid of vertical piers sets the facades momentum, held together by both primary horizontal mullions every third floor and secondary transom panels expressing the floors in between. Piers transition to form the handrail paired with a vertical metal railing.

The Corner Building, located to the south of the plot, will create 104 residential units, a mix of studios, one, two and tree bedroom homes, 32 of which are proposed as wheelchair adaptable units. The 12 story residential building has been designed a rectangular block form with inset volumes, allowing balconies to span the inset gaps and corners.

The fifth building o the plot is dedicated to commercial use Class E workspace, with a Class E Retail unit occupying part of the ground floor. The six story building has been designed to work as an open plan office space with the potential to subdivide each upper floor into two spaces to be occupied by different tenants.
