The Lake Texoma Dockominiums (floating houses) project comprises six prototypes for Puerto del Sol dock, an existing covered structure accommodating 24 boat slips and a range of shared amenities at Highport Marina in Pottsboro Texas. The six prototypes – each with different internal arrangements across two levels – are configured to fit within two slip sizes; three within a 36 foot slip and three within a 50 foot slip. Each Dockominium can be further defined by the increasingly private journey from the shared territory of the dock's central promenade to the slip fingers, boat moorings and, ultimately, the lake; the differing emphasis placed on sociability and privacy offers further choice to potential owners. Across all prototypes, and in accordance with yacht design, every available space and surface works hard in order to create tight servicing and generous volumes.
