Interiors are a key aspect of the success of every building and are crucial to the way users encounter, experience and interact with their surroundings.
AHMM is committed to designing healthy, adaptable and meaningful places and has developed a human-centred approach to interior design.
All our projects are conceived from the inside out as well as from the outside in to exploit the best light, views and development opportunities – this approach means that our interior strategies design can guide key decisions such as the best location of windows and doors, as well as the development of an intuitive building navigation to make our architecture easy to understand and use.
We strive to achieve a natural fit between the architectural envelope and the inside of our buildings, creating and curating stimulating and dynamic interior environments for a wide variety of users and contexts. From family homes and co-living apartments, through places of work, to spaces for learning, communing and healing, our interiors complement the unique identity of every building, expressing the special qualities and traditions of their locations, which we use to inform and enrich design choices, finishes and interior features.
