This new 5-hectare campus, located in Tengah, Singapore, for United World College of South East Asia (UWCSEA) authentically reflects their values and mission ‘to make education a force to unite people, nations, and cultures for peace and a sustainable future’.
Developed in collaboration with BVN and RSP Architects, the design for campus takes ideas of unity, sustainability and well-being to create a living, breathing community that will nurture belonging, experimental learning, and deep connections with nature.
The campus comprises of a primary school set in the forest, a centrally located middle school, shared facilities such as DT, science labs, learning centre and language rooms, a high school and Science block addressing the street, sport facilities including pitches and a new aquatics centre, centrally located auditorium and arts centre which acts as a beacon visible from the adjacent Tengah Park, a boarding house site with examination hall connected to the main campus via a new bridge and a green spine which unites the whole campus.
