This new Family Recreation Centre for the Oklahoma City and Country Club will provide four new indoor pickleball courts, one indoor padel court, two restaurants and a rooftop bar.

Replacing two outdoor tennis courts, the new two-storey building will tie together the existing fitness centre with the existing indoor tennis facility to create a unified campus for health, wellness and recreation.

While the interior requires large volumes, the primary façade is strategically articulated with pitched roofs and domestic scale detailing to reduce the overall appearance and height, respecting the adjacent residential community. Gable forms denote the entrance while relating to the historic clubhouse aesthetic.

The secondary elevation faces the golf course providing opportunities for views and activity. As such, the restaurant and bars open up to maximise views out and create meaningful indoor-outdoor spaces.

A formal rendered brick colonnade grounds the building and ties it into the existing campus.
