The Boathouse District Trailhead is a development intended to serve as an entry point for the public trails and existing bike pump track in the area. Composed of nine shipping containers, this development will offer a dynamic stage for bike enthusiasts and nature enthusiasts alike while providing concessions, look out points, and elevated bicycle pathways connecting to a BMX designed track that encircles the site. Arranged in a linear formation across the site the containers serve to enhance the existing axis leading to the trail entrance while simultaneously defining a courtyard type space that is intended to be used for future gatherings and other outdoor events for the pump track.
