The Plow Building reinvents a robust but disused warehouse building in Oklahoma City into flexible new office space. To exploit its inherent character, the building is stripped back to its heavy timber frame and structural brick shell. Lightwells are cut into the floor slab, which, combined with new sawtooth rooflights and large perimeter windows, draw natural light deep into the office bays across all four floors. New metal clad openings to Oklahoma Avenue, formed within existing window bays, are paired with new steel canopies that signal the main entrance to the west and the reinstated entrance to the south. These new interventions are designed to contrast with the found fabric.
