Started in 2019, our annual Summer School supports young people aged 16-18 years old attending London and Bristol state schools helping them explore their interest in built environment careers.

It helps deliver one of the aims of all of our Partnerships education work to ’support the future architecture profession and help to ensure it is diverse’.

Over a week students participate in various workshops introducing them to new ways to observe and explore the space surrounding us, including architectural drawing; understanding CDM; modelmaking; routes into architecture; site visits; sustainability; an exploration of AHMM’s materials library; collaborative creativity; and daily mentoring.
