Whilst studying for a degree in Art History at the University of St Andrews, Morna’s interest began to lean towards architecture and its impact on society and social history. After graduating, attending secretarial college and working in a range of sectors, she focused on finding a support role within architecture to bring together her education and interests. After a few years of working for different practices of differing sizes, she joined AHMM as a project secretary in 2004. In 2007 Morna was made Head of Support – a role that holds responsibility for the development and line management of the support team, from Receptionists to PAs, and Team Coordinators to Document Controllers. In 2009 Morna was given the additional responsibilities of managing the Premises and Facilities of the practice, and became Head of Practice Operations in 2016.
