Thomas joined AHMM in 2005 and has extensive experience in large-scale projects with complex technical requirements.
Thomas has led numerous projects within the UK and internationally across the workplace, residential, theatre, healthcare and arts sectors. His most recent completed project is Soho Place, a complex mixed-use over-station development in the heart of London including office and retail space and the first new-build theatre to open in London’s West End for fifty years.
Currently Thomas is leading Botanic Place, a new mixed-use campus in central Cambridge with the highest standards of sustainable and intelligent design. He is also working with the Royal Albert Hall on its Estate Plan, which includes a number of phased projects securing the long-term restoration of the iconic building and overseeing teams working on office-led mixed-use projects in Baker Street and Angel Square in London.
Thomas is passionate about low-carbon design, is involved in numerous bids and competitions and in developing the practice’s management and technical and digital policies. Outside his project work Thomas maintains an interest in education and mentoring and also acts as an external competition juror.
