Since joining AHMM in 2004 Robert has worked on a wide variety of projects that include education, commercial, mixed-use and others.

He was project architect for 160 Tooley Street, a part new build, part refurbishment scheme, representing a significant step forward in sustainable office design. Following that he led both phases of the University of Amsterdam, a large-scale reinvention of post-war buildings in the heart of the Dutch capital. Alongside this he completed major re-use and new build schemes on Regent Street and at 240 Blackfriars Road.

Robert is currently leading a series of projects including the Dovetail Building in the City of London - a highly considered building targeting the highest standards of BREEAM, LEED and WELL; West One Shopping Centre on Oxford Street – a complex project retaining 60% of the existing building’s structure; and Russell Court – a contextual new build scheme on St Stephen’s Green in Dublin. He also recently led the successful planning approval of One Fairchild Street, a major new office-led scheme in Shoreditch; as well as One Knightsbridge Green, a significant re-use project incorporating retail and re-provision of office space.

In addition to guiding teams on several projects, Robert contributes to the wider thinking and development of architecture across the practice, whilst leading other aspects of the management of the practice.
