Stephen joined AHMM in 2001. Since joining the practice he has led projects including the redevelopment of the Johnson Building in Islington, the mixed use Steward Building in Spitalfields, and White Collar Factory on Old Street. During more than twenty years with the practice Stephen has developed particular expertise in mixed-use commercial developments and masterplans, working for key clients and securing challenging planning permissions. Having been responsible for setting up AHMM’s Bristol office in 2007, he has continued to manage the office while working on projects in London, Bristol and Greater Manchester. His most recent work has included 2 New Bailey, a new office building in the New Bailey masterplan in Salford, the refurbishment and extension of its neighbour Riverside House, and a major new office campus for Assembly in central Bristol. He became an Associate Director in 2005 and Director in 2021.
