Laura Stephenson

After working for a number of leading practices across London, Laura joined Allford Hall Monaghan Morris in 2006. Since then, she has led the Stirling Prize nominated Westminster Academy, RIBA award winning Kirk Balk Community College in Barnsley and Kingswood Academy in Hull. Other key projects Laura has led include William Street Quarter Masterplan in Barking, the first privately funded social housing scheme in the UK, and the refurbishment of BBC Studios 1-3 at the world-renowned Television Centre, as well as the Blossom Street masterplan, which includes refurbishment, restoration, facade retention, and new buildings and public realm on a key site in Shoreditch close to the City fringe. Most recently Laura has led the team working on proposals for a temporary House of Commons at Richmond House. Laura was promoted to Associate Director in 2014 and Director in 2021.
