Hazel joined AHMM in 2002, was made an Associate in 2008 and became an Associate Director in 2010. She has worked on all of AHMM’s projects at the Barbican over the practice’s more than 15 years of work with the arts institution, achieving her Part III qualification while working on the Arts Centre reconfiguration project completed in 2006. She was also part of the leadership team for the Television Centre project from its inception to completion in 2018. Prior to this, she worked on a wide range of projects including Barking Central, Anne Mews, Brentford Masterplan, and the William Street Quarter Masterplan. Hazel has been a judge for the AJ Architecture Awards and the World Architecture Festival Awards, a Part III examiner at the Bartlett School of Architecture. She is a member of AHMM’s practice-wide Partnerships Group, which drives fundraising, volunteering and charitable giving. She was made a Director in 2021.
