Philip Richards
Associate

Philip joined AHMM in 2013 and has worked in a senior role on a variety of major projects including the Stratford Centre masterplan, a 22 storey mixed use tower in east London, and the recently completed office The Ray Farringdon. Prior to joining AHMM, Philip worked in a senior role at a prestigious London practice, where his projects included key transport and infrastructure developments in the UK and overseas; he was a key design team member for the Finch West Station in Toronto, completed in 2017. At AHMM, Philip led the team for The Ray Farringdon taking the project from early schematic design through to practical completion, including a tenant fit out which was delivered in parallel to the building. The Ray required liaison with key stakeholders and authorities, and detailed coordination with client, contractor and consultant teams, in addition to resolution of intricate facade, structural and interior details. The Ray Farringdon has provided Philip with detailed knowledge and experience of the contemporary office building type and workspaces. He has most recently been Project Architect for a residential-led mixed-use development in Glasgow. He was promoted to Associate in 2021.
