Nic joined the practice as an architect with cross-sector experience in 2003. He has worked across masterplans, residential, healthcare and commercial projects including Sunshine House, 160 Tooley Street, Union Square, Weston Street, Leonard Street, Nottingdale Village, Upper Richmond Road and the White Collar Factory concept.

Having developed AHMM’s award-winning and broad ranging sustainability agenda, he led this work and research as Head of Sustainability for a decade until 2016. He now works within the Technical Design Group on diverse issues around materials use, research and innovation and better ways of working, making buildings and sharing knowledge across the practice and beyond.

Nic enjoys mentoring and invited external tutoring, lecturing, assessment and examining roles. He contributes to industry groups and expert panels, addressing varied issues from technical competency to modern methods of construction. His book 'Cross Laminated Timber: A Design Stage Primer' is published by RIBA Publishing.
