Matthew joined the practice in 2010 after graduating from the Glasgow School of Art. Since joining, he has worked across masterplanning, offices, residential, arts and mixed-use developments through the planning and delivery stages. He was a leading member of the AHMM team involved in the design for Quadrant 4, a high-end residential redevelopment for The Crown Estate from conception to completion in 2017. Matthew has most recently been leading the construction stage for Phase 1 of Edinburgh Park, an 85,000 sq ft office building within a new mixed-use masterplan. He has also been overseeing the design of a large mixed-use collection of buildings at 330 Gray’s Inn Road, including a hotel, office and residential buildings integrated around two external spaces on the former Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital site in King’s Cross. Matthew was made an Associate in 2021.
