Joao is an experienced architect who joined Allford Hall Monaghan Morris in 2012. He worked for a number of years on the design and delivery of 2 Television Centre, a BCO Award winning new office building forming part of the wider Television Centre masterplan for Stanhope. More recently he has been leading a team designing a new government hub building as part of the Ruskin Square masterplan in Croydon. Before joining AHMM, Joao worked for other design-led practices in the UK, Spain and Portugal, in a variety of project scales and sectors. Joao has a strong interest in art and technology as the creative tools for a sustainable world. He was promoted to Associate in 2021.
