James studied at Liverpool University, the University of Washington, and the Bartlett UCL. He has been a chartered architect for over 20 years and a CABE Built Environment Expert providing planning design reviews on nationally significant projects. Prior to joining AHMM, James worked at Zaha Hadid and Foster + Partners on world class residential, office and mixed use projects in the UK and internationally. James is experienced in leading large multi-disciplinary design teams through concept, detailing and construction. Since joining the practice in 2016, James has led the winning bid for the Haringey Development Vehicle and has been the Project Architect for the H5 development at Elephant Park. He was made an Associate in 2021.
