Francesca joined AHMM at the start of 2018 after having worked in Italy, Switzerland and London across several residential, cultural, commercial and leisure projects. Initially, Francesca worked on the RIBA award winning refurbishment and extension of the Grade II listed Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel into a new town hall for Tower Hamlets.
Since then, she has been involved in a wide range of projects across different design stages including working extensively with Lendlease on Elephant Park, a residential-led regeneration of the former Heygate Estate in Elephant & Castle. She has also been a core member of the Norton Folgate team, one of AHMM’s largest commercial masterplans spanning three city blocks in the City of London.
More recently, Francesca has led Deptford Landings Plot 6 with Peabody, AHMM’s first residential Passivhaus project delivering 189 fully affordable homes in Deptford. She is currently leading 45 Beech Street, a co-living development for developer HUB and Bridges Fund Management, transforming disused office space into community-focused housing, while responding sensitively and creatively to the context of the iconic Barbican Estate.
Francesca is also an active mentor at AHMM, guiding junior colleagues in their professional development. She was made an Associate in 2025.
