Anita joined Allford Hall Monaghan Morris in 2007 to work on 240 Blackfriars Road, a speculative office scheme in London. Since then she has worked as a project architect on several housing and mixed use schemes in London, and has most recently been leading a 300,000 sq ft office-led commercial development in Cambridge. Anita was the overall project architect for the recently completed Hawley Wharf, a £200m complex masterplan in Camden, consisting of eight new buildings set amongst the existing railway viaducts and two refurbished buildings including the Grade II listed 1 Hawley Road. The varied mix of uses includes 200 affordable and market homes, a primary school for 210 pupils with a 26 pupil nursery, incubator workplace units and workshops, a range of local retail opportunities, three new public spaces and a flexible and open market building that addresses the Regent’s Canal to create a revitalised sense of place. Anita’s key interests lie in developing designs into workable schemes and delivering these without compromising on integrity or quality. She was made an Associate in 2021.
