Amrik Gaheer

Amrik joined AHMM in 2006 and began working on Phase II of Barking Central which comprises five additional buildings - including three residential blocks - and has contributed to the wider-scale regeneration of the area. Amrik was subsequently involved in the Barnsley Building Schools for the Future phase 1 programme and was Project Architect for Holy Trinity, an RIBA regional award winning nursery to sixth form school as part of Barnsley’s BSF phase 3. More recently Amrik led the team for Grand Union Studios, a mixed use development in west London that includes a large commercial building and a series of private, affordable and social ownership residential buildings. Amrik was involved in the project from design inception through to construction. He is currently part of the team working on proposals for a temporary House of Commons. Amrik was made an Associate in 2021.
