Alex Russell
Associate

Alex joined the practice in 2011 and has worked on a variety of projects in the UK and internationally, including Google King’s Cross, 132-142 Hampstead Road and the AELP Childcare Centre in Oklahoma City. Alex’s completed projects include a new primary school for Alconbury Weald, a developing new community on the former Alconbury Airfield site in Cambridgeshire, as well as the Alconbury Weald Club, a community centre with a strong sustainability focus. These projects, both being key civic buildings in a newly developing community involved an extensive consultation process with local community groups and stakeholders. More recently, Alex worked on the early-stage design for a speculative office building at Wood Wharf. Alex has most recently been Project Architect for King’s Cross P2, an office-led development, including retail and a 600-seat theatre. He was made an Associate in 2021.
