Ryan joined AHMM in 2013, having previously worked on a wide range of education projects. He was made an Associate in 2021 and an Associate Director in 2025.

Ryan was Project Architect for West Grove North, completed in 2019 as the BCI Award winning  second phase of the Elephant Park Masterplan to regenerate the former Heygate Estate in Elephant and Castle. He led the team from inception to completion over the course of five years to deliver 367 homes and over 2,000 sqm of retail space.

More recently, Ryan has led a team to develop proposals for a mixed-use scheme in West London with developer HUB, incorporating co-living, affordable housing and office space. He also led the team who successfully secured planning consent for the O2 Centre site masterplan in West Hampstead, providing 1,800 new homes together with 180,000 square feet of retail, leisure and community space.

Currently, Ryan is Project Architect for a new life science building on Cavell Street that will provide market-leading, flexible lab space adjacent to the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel. Ryan is also the practice Quality Manager, responsible for the development and auditing of AHMM’s ISO 9001 quality assurance certification.
