Paul joined AHMM in 2007 after graduating from Liverpool University School of Architecture. He was nominated for the Silver Medal for both thesis and dissertation and won the Sikorski Memorial Prize. Before joining AHMM, Paul worked for a number of practices in the North West of England and Wales on a series of education and residential developments.

At AHMM Paul has worked on a wide variety of projects including several educational projects such as Dagenham Park School as well as the refurbishment of Liverpool’s Royal Court Theatre. He was Project Architect on the RIBA Award winning Discovery Centre at Oaklands College from inception through to completion in 2012.

Paul’s interests in working with existing buildings has been demonstrated through his work as Project Architect for the recently completed Norton Folgate, a three-block masterplan in the City of London as well as work on the refurbishment of the Grade II listed Officers House in Royal Arsenal Woolwich and at the London Chest Hospital, a large residential masterplan adjacent to Victoria Park.

Currently, Paul is Project Architect for the Aberystwyth University masterplan to refurbish the Grade II Brutalist Arts Centre and Student Union on the Penglais Campus in West Wales. He has also been working on the large-scale masterplan for the Royal Street site adjacent to St Thomas’ Hospital in central London and a newbuild office facility on the south coast for a financial services provider.

Paul was made an Associate in 2021 and an Associate Director in 2025.
