Planning approval for Elizabeth House

Lambeth Council’s Planning Committee has voted unanimously in favour of AHMM’s proposals for the redevelopment of the Elizabeth House site in Waterloo for international workspace provider HB Reavis. The plans will create around 1.2 million square feet of workspace supporting up to 11,000 jobs, together with new retail and a transformed public realm next to Waterloo Station, which is the UK’s busiest train station. A key feature of the proposed project is a one-acre, publicly accessible garden promenade, directly connected to the Waterloo concourse level. A new pedestrianised street, the Curve, will also provide a much-needed new route lined with shops and cafés. Find out more about the plans on the project website.
