AIA UK Excellence in Design Awards 2025 08.05.25

Last night, Wednesday 7 May, Norton Folgate received an American Institute of Architects UK Excellence in Design Award in the Outstanding Adaptive Reuse category at their annual awards ceremony.

Occupying a prominent position on the City Fringe, this office led development comprises three urban blocks with the retention of a significant number of historic buildings, creation of six new buildings and new public realm.

The architect team led by AHMM and including DSDHA, East, Morris + Company and Stanton Williams, employed a building-by-building approach to the retained existing buildings using restoration, refurbishment, extension, remodelling and façade retention to breathe new life into the architecture with sensitively designed new buildings.
