More than 30 years of collaboration has reinforced our belief, as architects, that:
- Our work should be driven by strategic approach to design which recognises that changes in circumstance and context, both during the design and during life of the building and inevitable.
- Our work should address and enhance its relationship with both the public it serves and the public spaces that surround it, not least by bringing visual delight.
- Our work should do more with less; set the best standards of design, regardless of cost or programme; and be open-minded, generous of spirit and optimistic
- Our focus is architecture, and the endless testing of the boundaries of its application.
We consider architecture to be a broad area of expertise, so our team structure results in the sense of a collection of similar-minded smaller offices working amongst shares spaces. We value the diversity of design intelligence that this style of working brings.
