Anna Bazeley

Head of Communications

With a background in languages and translation, Anna has spent her career working with people and organisations in the built environment to communicate their work, ideas and ethos effectively, market their skills, and develop their practice and business. As well as the way architects talk and write about themselves and what they do, she has a strong interest in the social context in which they work and the role of architecture in communities and cities. Having worked at several leading architecture, urban design and engineering practices over the previous 12 years, she joined AHMM as Head of Communications in 2014.

Head of Modelshop

With a career in architectural modelling, toy design and exhibition display spanning over 20 years, Ming has gained extensive experience and a host of different skills. Prior to joining AHMM he produced models and prototypes for a wide variety of companies, including Tomy, Sky, BBC and Google.

Ming joined the practice in 2005 and now manages the Modelshop's team of highly experienced modelmakers.

Producing models across all spectrums and scales – from abstract concept models to highly detailed marketing models and everything in between – the work of the modelshop is an integral part of the practice’s design process. Our modelshop is an in-house facility, which means there’s a close working relationship between architects and modelmakers. This in turn guarantees that our models are vital to how we present our projects to clients, design teams and others.  

Kate Westwood

Head of Legal Team

Kate joined AHMM as the practice’s in-house solicitor in 2016, having previously worked for more than 15 years in private practice. Kate has a wealth of legal experience working for creative industry clients on non-contentious matters, spending ten years as a music lawyer before becoming a partner at a firm specialising in advising media and creative industry clients, including numerous architecture practices across London. With a breadth of knowledge of intellectual property and construction industry matters, as the head of AHMM’s legal team Kate leads our numerous professional appointment negotiations, supporting our architectural teams as well as the other heads of department on all legal matters.

Kelly Perry

Kelly Perry

Head of Finance

Kelly started her career working in an accountancy practice, working primarily with design agencies and architectural practices across London. She made the move out of practice into the role on Financial Controller of a graphic design agency in 2004, with the desire to have a proactive role managing the day to day financials and involvement in strategic decision making. Kelly joined AHMM in 2009 as Company Accountant and in 2014 was made Group Financial Controller, overseeing the day to day operations of the company’s finance team. As well as reporting on the AHMM Group finances, Kelly is responsible for group budget preparation and analysis, in-house payroll across the AHMM Group and pensions.

Helen Ratcliffe

Head of HR

After studying Business Administration at West London College, Helen went on to set up and run several businesses in North Yorkshire. During this time, she gained a wide-ranging understanding of people and business management.

She returned to London in 1999 to work in the corporate finance sector at KPMG, in recruitment for JP Morgan and as Head of London Operations for Accenture before joining Allford Hall Monaghan Morris in 2005. Initially joining as Practice Manager, she developed and moved to the HR role after a couple of years.

Helen is MCIPD qualified and is an HR Generalist.

Morna Robertson

Morna Robertson

Head of Practice Operations

Whilst studying for a degree in Art History at the University of St Andrews, Morna’s interest began to lean towards architecture and its impact on society and social history. After graduating, attending secretarial college and working in a range of sectors, she focused on finding a support role within architecture to bring together her education and interests. After a few years of working for different practices of differing sizes, she joined AHMM as a project secretary in 2004. In 2007 Morna was made Head of Support – a role that holds responsibility for the development and line management of the support team, from Receptionists to PAs, and Team Coordinators to Document Controllers. In 2009 Morna was given the additional responsibilities of managing the Premises and Facilities of the practice, and became Head of Practice Operations in 2016.
Ryan Gyselinck

Ryan Gyselinck

Head of Information Technology

Ryan joined AHMM in 2017 as Head of IT; he has over 14 years’ experience working in the architecture, engineering and construction sector including senior positions at two other leading architectural practices. His responsibilities include developing and delivering the practice’s information technology and digital design strategies, whilst aligning any future technologies and implementation with the practice’s goals and vision. Ryan is also responsible for overseeing the practice’s ISO 27001 compliance.
