Working with the found site in a recently savaged conservation area this project involves the restoration of the fine warehouses onto the street and the creation of a new conjoined office building on the site of former warehouses. A full width aperture has been carved out through the central warehouse at ground to provide an entrance loggia connected to the cubic atriums and courtyard that form public rooms that link and divide old and new. This building offers a radical critique of speculative office development production and product. Utilising prefabrication throughout, an integrated solution has emerged with pre-cast concrete forming the walls and soffits inside and out whilst air is distributed through columns constructed of the same.
