City Road is an example of Allford Hall Monaghan Morris working with Derwent London to deliver contemporary design integrated with older architecture to provide a smart, innovative and passive solution for a leaner, greener market. It is the latest iteration of the ‘White Collar Factory’ concept.
Located in EC1, adjacent to the Old Street roundabout, the development will be a blend of new work and refurbishment. A redundant service yard is reoriented to become a new public square for the entire development, and a series of new alleys and passages connect it to the wider city.
