The 5400m2 scheme will provide much needed health and well-being services to Norwood residents together with an improved quality of open space. The project provides a customer service centre, community meeting venues, dance studio, gym and swimming pool and a PCT Neighbourhood Resource Centre. The building emerges from the slope concealing a large amount of accommodation below ground and taking the cues for the striations in the façade from the topography of the landscape it sits in. The surrounding landscape is augmented to include gym and play equipment and a new level park area.
