Wandsworth. 2013
- Project Details
- Completion: 2013
- Cost: £29 Million
- Clients: Wandsworth Council LEA / Lend Lease
The proposed scheme consists of a series of new educational buildings for the school and a new landscape plan for the entire site.
The school campus is currently made up of a collection of buildings that were developed in the post-war period by the local authority architects, of which the main assembly hall and pool building will be retained.
The completion of the proposed buildings will serve over 200 more pupils. Burntwood School has an existing and successful Science specialism, resulting in links being forged with other schools in the borough and with St. Georges’ Hospital.
