HAZEL JOSEPH WAS BORN IN 1977 IN LONDON AND EDUCATED AT NOTTINGHAM
UNIVERSITY AND THE BARTLETT SCHOOL, UNIVERSITY COLLEGE LONDON.

Hazel joined the practice in 2002 straight after finishing her studies and then spent a year working in New Zealand as an Architect Assistant.

After her experience abroad she came back to AHMM in 2004 and worked on the development of various projects in the arts, housing, commercial and mixed use sectors including The Johnson Building,

Clearwater Yard, Union Square and Barbican Public Spaces & entrances.

In 2008 she was made Associate and is currently working on Barking Central II.
